St. Joseph Regional extended the longest winning streak in Big North - United this week by beating DePaul, 38-14. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.

Paramus Catholic took down Friendship Collegiate Academy 41-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Garrett Dickerson was the best wideout in the league this week as Bergen Catholic lost to Don Bosco Prep. Dickerson racked up 5 receptions for 87 yards. Kyle Cook helped Bergen Catholic's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 34 yards.

6-foot-3 quarterback Steve Shanley of the Paladins is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,298. He has also thrown 14 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Ronald Edwards. The St. Joseph Regional star has 18 catches for 385 yards.

The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Paramus Catholic and the Crusaders. Chris Partridge's team enters the contest ranked second in the state, while Bergen Catholic ranks seventh.

Kareem Walker of the the Spartans is only 67 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Walker has rushed for 933 yards on 88 carries so far this year.

Two highly praised recruits will be in the spotlight when the Paladins and Nunzio Campanile's team meet this week. Paramus Catholic features well-regarded freshman Drew Singleton while the Crusaders has Jarrett Guarantano, a sought after sophomore.

One of Big North - United's premier quarterbacks will face off with its top pass rusher when the Paladins and Bergen Catholic face off next week.

Paramus Catholic led the league in scoring this week after putting up 41 points on the Knights.
