Softball Preview: Seneca Bobcats vs. Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers
The Seneca Bobcats will square off against the Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Friday, Seneca got the win against Easley by a conclusive 9-1. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Green Wave recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Meanwhile, Blue Ridge made easy work of Landrum on Monday and carried off a 17-9 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Fighting Tigers.
Chloe Manley and Khloe Metcalf did most of the damage at the plate: Manley scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4, while Metcalf went 2-for-5 with one home run and five RBI. That home run was Metcalf's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Bella Sands, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
