Basketball Game Preview: Buffalo Grove Bison vs. Oswego Panthers

The Buffalo Grove Bison will face off against the Oswego Panthers at 12:30 p.m. on Monday.

Buffalo Grove is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Rolling Meadows on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Buffalo Grove was beaten by Rolling Meadows 68-40. The Bison were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-16.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oswego). They walked away with a 70-59 victory over Naperville North on Saturday. The win was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Oswego's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Buffalo Grove, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-12.
