Eastmoor Academy was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to third in Columbus City - South. The Warriors beat West 58-6 earlier in the week.

The Cowboys fell to Eastmoor Academy 58-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Malik Harrison and Jaisean Johnson gave Walnut Ridge a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Harrison threw for 82 yards and 2 touchdowns, while Johnson ran for 173 yards. Teammate Harrison added to the ground attack by rushing for 98 yards.

Harrison and Johnson gave the Scots a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week.

Omar Alfred was the best wideout in the league this week as Marion-Franklin bested Independence. Alfred tallied 6 receptions for 122 yards.

Harrison put up the best numbers through the air as Walnut Ridge beat South.

Johnson was a passing and rushing force as Byron Mattox's team bested the Bulldogs.

6-foot-4 quarterback Harrison of the Scots is the league leader in passing yards this season with 404. He has also thrown 3 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Iman Lowery. The Independence star has 18 catches for 181 yards.

The top two teams in Columbus City - South will face off this week when first place Walnut Ridge takes on second place Marion-Franklin. Last week, Walnut Ridge defeated South, while the Red Devils topped the 76ers.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Marion-Franklin takes on the Scots. The Red Devils have allowed 55 points this season, while Walnut Ridge has given up 43. Marion-Franklin allowed 18 points last week as it defeated Independence.
