Basketball Recap: Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder vs. Upsala Cardinals
Long Prairie-Grey Eagle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 57-47 to the Upsala Cardinals. Landowski is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 56% in the last six games he's played. Jack Primus was another key player, putting up 13 points in addition to five boards and four steals.
Long Prairie-Grey Eagle's loss dropped their record down to 2-23. As for Upsala, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.
Long Prairie-Grey Eagle will challenge Verndale at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Upsala, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Cardinals duke it out with the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
