Ingleside has gone a perfect 10-0 against Jones recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Mustangs will be playing at home against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Ingleside is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Jourdanton just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Indians, falling 14-2. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Mustangs, who until this matchup were averaging 4.06 runs allowed.

Ingleside saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kylee Ward, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Calhoun hit Jones with a six-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Trojans lost 12-2 to the Sandcrabs.

Jones' loss dropped their record down to 6-20-2. As for Ingleside, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-11-1.

Jones' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Ingleside hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .347. It's a different story for Jones, though, as they've only averaged .213. Will they be able to contain Ingleside's hitters?
