Volleyball Recap: Chattooga Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Chattooga won the last time they faced Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe and things went their way on Saturday too. The Indians came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 2-0. Winning may never get old, but the Indians sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Haley Maddux paced Chattooga's offense, picking up 12 kills. Maddux got some help from Madilyn Wheat and her 16 assists. Aurora Ramirez controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Chattooga's win bumped their record up to 26-8. As for Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-21 record this season.

Chattooga has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Northwest Whitfield on the 20th. As for Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Southeast Whitfield County on the 23rd.
