Basketball Game Preview: Tea Titans vs. Pierre T.F. Riggs Governors

The Tea Titans will take on the Pierre T.F. Riggs Governors at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Tea is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Tea took a blow against O'Gorman, falling 70-33. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 71st, while the Knights are ranked third).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pierre T.F. Riggs). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Yankton 75-34. The win continues a trend for the Governors in their matchups with the Bucks/Gazelles: they've now won five in a row.

Tea's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Pierre T.F. Riggs, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
