With a playoff win on the line, Governor Livingston rose to the challenge on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Lyndhurst Golden Bears a 12-0 shutout. The Highlanders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Governor Livingston has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games.
