            Softball Recap: Leo Lions vs. Garrett Railroaders        
        
		
        
        
            Leo never let their opponents score on Thursday. They blew past the Garrett Railroaders 8-0. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Railroaders, too.

 Luci Schott was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. Those  three  hits gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Kristian Bond, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Leo  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Garrett only managed two  hits.
Leo is  on a roll lately: they've  won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Garrett, their loss dropped their record down to 16-7.
 Coming up, Leo will head out to  square off against Eastside  at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Garrett, they will welcome Woodlan  at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday.
