Football Game Preview: Mt. St. Michael Academy Mountaineers vs. Holy Trinity Titans

The Mt. St. Michael Academy Mountaineers will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Holy Trinity Titans at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Mt. St. Michael Academy easily dispatched Cardinal Spellman two weeks ago, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Mountaineers fell just short of Fordham Prep by a score of 16-14 last Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Mountaineers in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost five in a row.

Mt. St. Michael Academy might have lost, but man, Ryan Reid was a machine: he picked up 116 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Holy Trinity's offense. They came up short against Xaverian last Friday, falling 22-0.

Mt. St. Michael Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Holy Trinity, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
