Baseball Recap: Everett Alvarez Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Everett Alvarez had lost six games at home, but after bumping their record up to 11-12 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They skirted past the San Lorenzo Valley Cougars 7-6. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 13-4 victory the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2022.

Roman Garcia and Matt Lopez did most of the damage at the plate: Garcia went 1-for-3 with three runs and one stolen base, while Lopez got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.
