Baseball Recap: Osbourn Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Osbourn kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Patriot Pioneers, falling 16-1. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Pioneers from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Lenell Evans was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024.

The victory was the third in a row for Patriot, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Osbourn will challenge Hylton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Patriot, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Battlefield at 6:00 p.m. on April 4.
