Softball Recap: Desert Oasis Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Desert Oasis can now relate to. They came up short against the Faith Lutheran Crusaders on Saturday, falling 9-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Diamondbacks in their meetings with the Crusaders: they've now lost four in a row.

Desert Oasis saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Adams, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Desert Oasis' loss dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Faith Lutheran, the win (which was their 21st in a row) raised their record to 27-1.

As of now, neither Desert Oasis nor the Crusaders have any future games scheduled.
