Soccer Recap: Clint Takes a Loss

After flying high against Mountain View last Friday, Clint came back down to earth. The Clint Lions fell just short of the Irvin Rockets by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Rockets recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Clint's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Irvin, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-5-1.

Looking ahead, Clint is taking a road trip to challenge Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on February 21st. As for Irvin, they will host Mountain View at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Irvin is facing Mountain View at the right time seeing as Mountain View is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
