Football Recap: Fairview Takes a Loss

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Fairview and Corry have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Tigers lost 28-3 to the Beavers. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Beavers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Fairview's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Corry, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Fairview will face off against North East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Corry, they will take on Harbor Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Beavers will be up against the Huskies' rather soft defense (which has allowed 25.63 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
