Richton posted their biggest  victory since April 8, 2024 on Tuesday. They blew past the Forrest County Agricultural Aggies 14-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  9-4  last Tuesday.
 Eliza Kelly was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  pitched five innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   four  hits. Kelly was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in two of her four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Kailyn Ely was  incredible,  scoring four  runs while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.  Cartier Daughdill was another key player,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 Richton  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Forrest County Agricultural only posted  an  OBP of  .304.
The  win made it two in a row for Richton and  bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs over those games. As for Forrest County Agricultural,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-5.
 Looking ahead, Richton will face off against Salem at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for Forrest County Agricultural, they will take on Seminary at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
