West Florida Baptist Academy had won five straight games and Kaleb Wiggins did his part to make it six on Tuesday. Everything went the West Florida Baptist Academy Conquerors' way against the Gulf Pointe Latin Gladiators as the West Florida Baptist Academy Conquerors made off with a 70-50 victory thanks in part to Wiggins, who went 10-for-18 on his way to 28 points. He is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last three games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Sam Pearce, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 13 boards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 8.1 rebounds per game.

Despite the loss, Gulf Pointe Latin had strong showings from Dean Fillmore, who posted 12 points and eight boards, and Brenden Yoder, who went 6-for-9 en route to 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Scarberry, who earned eight points.

West Florida Baptist Academy's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24.8 points. As for Gulf Pointe Latin, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.

As for Gulf Pointe Latin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 63-59 loss against Aletheia Christian Academy on the 6th.
