Softball Preview: Whitewater Whippets vs. Jefferson Eagles

Whitewater is 1-9 against Jefferson since May of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Whitewater Whippets will be playing at home against the Jefferson Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, it was close, but Whitewater sidestepped Turner for a 5-3 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Whitewater.

Meanwhile, Jefferson put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 12-1 margin over Evansville.
