Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 35-30 heartbreaker at the hands of the Irvington Blue Knights. One positive for the Lions, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Irvington, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-4 record.

Lincoln will be playing in front of their home fans against Hoboken at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln is facing Hoboken at the right time seeing as Hoboken is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Irvington, they are taking a road trip to challenge East Side at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
