Progreso fell victim to Falfurrias and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Fightin' Jerseys and fell 46-0. The Red Ants' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

Progreso's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Falfurrias, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Progreso wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 66-0 defeat against Lyford on the 30th. As for Falfurrias, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 34-32 loss against San Diego on the 31st.
