Softball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Franklin's offense. They came up short against the Dundalk Owls on Monday, falling 11-0. The Indians have struggled against the Owls recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Franklin now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Dundalk, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin will host Western Tech & Environmental Science at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dundalk, they will welcome Parkville at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.33 runs per game on average), something the Owls will no doubt try to take advantage of.
