The Contra Costa Christian Cougars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Cornerstone Christian, falling 92-54. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Contra Costa Christian in their matchups with Cornerstone Christian: they've now lost three in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cornerstone Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Benjamin Lukacs, who scored 15 points. The matchup was Lukacs' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jayden Thomasson, who scored 13 points.

Contra Costa Christian bumped their record down to 6-4 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Cornerstone Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Contra Costa Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against California School for the Deaf at 4:00 p.m. on December 13th. Cornerstone Christian will be home for the holidays to greet Antioch at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
