Concord came out on top against Campolindo on Thursday thanks in part to Aislynn Newlin's efforts. Newlin was dialed in as she struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits (and not a single walk). She played a big game the last time she faced Campolindo back in April of 2024, so the team probably should've seen her coming. Newlin has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 15 consecutive appearances.
