A Season-Best Performance from Shawn Edmondson Leads Burroughs over Westminster Christian

Shawn Edmondson produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Burroughs to the win on Friday. Edmondson rushed for 57 yards and three touchdowns. He didn't just play on offense: he also made four total tackles and defended a pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Burroughs is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Edmondson and Burroughs will face off against Roosevelt/Carnahan at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Gould and MICDS will venture away from home to square off against St. Dominic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams had to take a loss when they last met the Crusaders, but Gould had little to do with the loss: he rushed for 79 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 141 yards and a touchdown.
