Volleyball Recap: Manteca Beats Central Catholic for Their Third Straight Win

Manteca hadn't done well against Central Catholic recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Buffaloes came out on top in a nail-biter against the Raiders, sneaking past 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Buffaloes sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Manteca was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 23-25, 24-26, 25-21, 19-17.

Manteca's win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Central Catholic, their loss ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Manteca is set to square off against their familiar foe Mountain House at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Central Catholic will take on rival Oakdale at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
