On Saturday, Hamlin faced St. Thomas More in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Everything went the Hamlin Chargers' way against the St. Thomas More Cavaliers as the Hamlin Chargers made off with a 62-42 win. The Chargers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 20 points or more this season.

The victory was the 11th in a row for Hamlin, bringing their record for this year to 16-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points over those games. As for St. Thomas More, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-4.
