After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tri-Valley, Philo was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cambridge Bobcats, sneaking past 3-2. This was payback for the Electrics, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Philo was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 17-25, 21-25, 25-19, 15-10.

Ava White paced Philo's offense, picking up 16 kills. White got some help from Halli Harris and her 13 assists. Harris was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Philo moved to 7-13 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak. As for Cambridge, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 10-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Philo will challenge John Glenn at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cambridge, they will take on Monroe Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
