Basketball Recap: Bland County Bears vs. Narrows Green Waves

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bland County can now relate to. They fell 72-65 to the Narrows Green Waves on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Green Waves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 71-57 back in December of 2024.

Tinley Worley and Danielle Sanders certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Worley went 11-for-22 en route to 26 points and three steals, while Sanders went 5-for-7 on her way to 11 points in addition to eight boards and six steals. The game was Worley's third in a row with at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was McKenna Hollis, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 10 points and six rebounds.
