Softball Game Preview: Wiregrass Ranch Bulls vs. Central Bears

The Wiregrass Ranch Bulls will challenge the Central Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wiregrass Ranch is coming into the game hot, having won their last 15 games.

On Wednesday, Wiregrass Ranch earned a 7-3 win over Cypress Creek.

Aubrey Zechmann was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last eight times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoe Troupe, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Central's offense. They came up short against Gulf on Thursday, falling 8-0. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Bears' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Wiregrass Ranch's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-17.
