League recap: Gable's hitting boosts Broomfield

4A Northern league recap: 5/7/12

Dylan Gable was on fire this week, as he led 4A Northern with a .500 average with eight RBIs. Meanwhile, Broomfield put together a 2-0 week.

After a week in which it went 2-0, the Eagles jumped from 50 to 39 in the national rankings, the biggest increase in the league.

After surrendering only two walks in the past week, Broomfield remains No. 1 in that category for the season, with just 24 total.

Adam Baumann led the league with six hits this week for Mountain View. On the season, he's hitting .358 and ranks twenty-sixth in the league with 19 hits.
