Basketball Recap: Hokes Bluff Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

Hokes Bluff came tearing into Monday's matchup with four straight wins and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 73-52 margin over the Ashville Bulldogs. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Ashville still got an impressive performance from JB Potter, who went 7 for 16 en route to 22 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. Another player making a difference was Dalton Rice-Thompson, who posted 11 points and four steals.

Hokes Bluff has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which somehow still isn't as good as their 22-7 record this season. As for Ashville, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-11 record this season.
