Recap: Stony Point Tigers vs. Manor Mustangs
The Stony Point Tigers''s game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They had just enough and edged Manor out 19-16. This was payback for Stony Point, who suffered a 45-10 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Stony Point found their leader in underclassman Kinnick Kalbus, who threw for 225 yards and two touchdowns while completing 74.1% of his passes. Trystin Rimes also helped out with an impressive 161 receiving yards.
Manor's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Jayson Zardavets, who threw for 118 yards and two touchdowns.
Stony Point's victory bumped their record up to 5-5. As for Manor, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 4-6.
Stony Point does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Manor also has no future games currently scheduled.
