Basketball Recap: Whetstone Takes a Loss

Whetstone came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They took a blow against the Franklin Heights Falcons, falling 86-54. The Braves haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Whetstone's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Franklin Heights, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Whetstone will face off against Westerville North at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Franklin Heights, they will square off against Watkins Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Franklin Heights is facing Watkins Memorial at the right time seeing as Watkins Memorial is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
