Baseball Recap: Watertown Takes a Loss

After flying high against DeForest on Tuesday, Watertown came back down to earth. The Goslings came up short against the Norskies on Friday, falling 9-1. The match marked the Goslings' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Watertown saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Hurtgen, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.

Watertown's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for DeForest, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Watertown will venture away from home to take on Monona Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for DeForest, they will take on Tomah at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
