Volleyball Recap: Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon Comes Up Short on the Road Against Boulder City + How To Watch

Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Boulder City Eagles. The Pirate were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

While Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Boulder City's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-18, 25-19.

The win made it two in a row for Boulder City and bumps their season record up to 3-6.

Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon and Boulder City will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Pirate are set to take on their familiar foe Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Boulder City will face off against rival Pahrump Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
