Marshea Byrd Game Report: @ Western Alamance

Sadly, Marshea Byrd posting her best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Orange over Western Alamance on Friday. Byrd dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 boards. The effort marked the most points she has had since back in February of 2024. She has become a key player for Orange: the team is 7-3 when she posts at least eight rebounds, but 3-4 otherwise.

Byrd and Orange will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Discovery Charter School at 6:30 p.m. Sadly, Byrd's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped Orange's five-game streak of wins on the road.
