Volleyball Recap: New Albany's Loss Ends Eight-Game Winning Streak on the Road

New Albany dropped to 2-3-2 on Thursday, ending the team's eight-game streak of wins on the road dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kossuth Aggies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2023.

Chloe Caldwell was the offensive standout of the game as she had 12 digs and four aces. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (three).

Coming up, New Albany will head out to square off against Pontotoc at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kossuth, they will welcome Tishomingo County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
