Basketball Recap: Lake of the Woods Comes Up Short

Lake of the Woods was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 52-43 to the International Falls Broncos. If the Bears were looking for revenge after losing 63-54 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lake of the Woods' defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for International Falls, their victory bumped their record up to 4-9.

Lake of the Woods will face off against Warroad at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Lake of the Woods is facing Warroad at the right time seeing as Warroad is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. International Falls has already played their next game, a 54-40 loss against Two Harbors on the 11th.
