Softball Game Preview: Cedarville Indians vs. Greeneview Rams

For the second straight game, Cedarville will face off against Greeneview. The Indians will challenge the Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedarville has given up an average of 7.4 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Monday, Cedarville came up short against Greeneview and fell 11-7. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

For Greeneview's part, Lilly Reichley and Bella Sutton did most of the damage at the plate: Reichley scored a run while going 3-for-3, while Sutton scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5. Greeneview's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-5. As for Cedarville, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Cedarville hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .341. However, it's not like Greeneview struggles in that department as they've averaged .345. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
