Basketball Recap: South Eugene Takes a Loss

South Eugene was the 46-35 winner over Roseburg when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The South Eugene Axe took a hard 45-27 fall against the Roseburg Indians on Friday. The Axe just can't catch a break and have now endured seven losses in a row.

South Eugene's record is now 5-14. As for Roseburg, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 5-11 record.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Grants Pass the next time they take the court. Roseburg will host Grants Pass at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, while South Eugene will head out to face them at 6:45 p.m. on February 7th.
