Volleyball Recap: Ruskin Comes Up Short

Ruskin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Chrisman Bears. The Golden Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bears from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-8, 25-11.

Jordyn Tinsley paced Ruskin's offense, picking up three kills. Tinsley really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with two. Breanna Noah and Romaine Solomon kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Ruskin's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Chrisman, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Ruskin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Winnetonka on the 8th. As for Chrisman, they have also already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against University Academy Charter on the 6th.
