Softball Recap: Soquel Takes a Loss

Soquel lost against Aptos back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Soquel lost 14-8 to Aptos. That's two games in a row now that the Knights have lost by exactly six runs.

Soquel is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3. As for Aptos, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-4.

Looking ahead, Soquel will head out on the road to face off against Scotts Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Aptos, they will welcome North Monterey County at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. North Monterey County has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.67 runs per game on average), something Aptos will no doubt try to take advantage of.
