Baseball Recap: Righetti Takes a Loss

Righetti came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the St. Joseph Knights, falling 7-1. The Warriors have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Righetti saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kamron Walker, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Righetti's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for St. Joseph, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

While Righetti had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
