 San Rafael came tearing into  Wednesday's  matchup with 11 straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs) and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Terra Linda Trojans with a sharp  12-1 win. Considering San Rafael has won 12 contests by more than five  runs this season, Wednesday's  blowout was nothing new.
  Thomara Drummer made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out 15 over 5.1 innings pitched. Drummer has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than eight  strikeouts every time she's  pitched this season. Drummer was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 4-for-5.
 In other batting news,  Angel Amesa was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Cassidy Kaplan, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-4.
 On Terra Linda's side,  Eleanor Johnson was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 3-for-3 with two  doubles.
 San Rafael's victory was  their 12th straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 16-2. As for Terra Linda, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost six of their last eight games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record  this season.
 San Rafael will stay at home for another  game and welcome Redwood at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. The pair have allowed few  runs on average, (San Rafael: 1.4, Redwood: 2.2) so any  runs scored will be well earned. As for Terra Linda, they will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Marin Catholic at 4:30  p.m.
