Basketball Recap: Addison Trail Gets Big Victory over Higher-Ranked West Chicago

Addison Trail won the last time they faced West Chicago and things went their way on Saturday too. The Addison Trail Blazers took down the West Chicago Wildcats 43-27. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Blazers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 431st, while the Wildcats are ranked 212th).

Addison Trail has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-14 record this season. As for West Chicago, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-7.

Addison Trail will host Westmont at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Chicago, they will challenge Larkin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
