Basketball Recap: Whitesboro Triumphs

Whitesboro won the last time they faced Oriskany and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Warriors came out on top against the Skyhawks by a score of 56-45.

Whitesboro's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Oriskany, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whitesboro will welcome Rome Free Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Oriskany, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Mt. Markham at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Skyhawks will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 61.33 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
