The Largo Lions had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They managed a 61-55 win over Gwynn Park on Tuesday. Largo is really starting to get used to good results now that the team's won 11 straight.
Largo got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Rooney Joseph out in front who scored 14 points along with six rebounds. Cameron Ward was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds.
Largo's win bumped their record up to 22-2. As for Gwynn Park, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 22-2.
Largo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 79-57 victory vs. Thomas Stone on the 8th. Gwynn Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
