It was a good run, but Bishop O'Dowd unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the South Medford Panthers.

Bishop O'Dowd was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by exactly two points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 26-24.

Bishop O'Dowd's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for South Medford, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Bishop O'Dowd has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Arcadia on the 26th. As for South Medford, they will venture away from home to challenge Grants Pass at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
