Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Defeat Ends Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer's Winning Streak

Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer dropped down to 4-3 on Saturday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell 2-0 to the Auburn Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Elie Bstandig paced Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer's offense, picking up ten kills. Bstandig were helped by Maddie Bredemeier and PJ Howe, who contributed seven assists each. Lillian Bowen controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

As for Auburn, they now have a winning record of 4-3. Winning may never get old, but they sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Auburn can attribute much of their success to Emma Hyde, who had three digs and two aces. Hyde is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season.

Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Lourdes Central Catholic on the 9th. As for Auburn, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Tri County on the 8th.
